The RAF centenary celebrations continue with the release of the documentary Spitfire, telling the story of the fighter plane through first-hand accounts of the last last-surviving combat veterans.

The documentary combines specially shot aerial footage from photographer John Dibbs with digitally remastered archive film from the 1940s

The RAF 100 flypast event will see jets, helicopters and plenty more aircraft flying over the English capital, going over Buckingham Palace at 1pm, where the Queen , Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall and other members of the royal family will be waiting to witness the historic moment.
